On the installation day we will arrive promptly at the agreed time and firstly start to prepare the rooms we shall be working in, dust sheets will be placed over your carpets and furniture and any valuable or fragile items will be moved to another room or out of harms way.

The window beads will be removed allowing access to both sashes, the sashes will be taken from the box frame and any repairs will be carried out on them such as broken panes replaced and faulty or broken catches removed. The weights will be removed and any new sills replaced. The box frame will be primed and re-corded, the sashes will be planed to fit the box once again and the draught seal installed into the sashes and new beads, the sashes will be re-hung and the new beads fitted, any new window furniture will be installed and the finished window left primed.

Where ever possible and space allowing we will endeavour to keep your property as clean as possible during the works on your windows, we do this by making a makeshift work area to protect your home and by attaching all the machines to an industrial hoover.
