Refurbishment and

Draught Proofing

Sash window, casements and door specialists

On removal of the top and bottom sashes they are planed to re-fit the box frame and a groove is routed into the exterior side of the bottom sash mid rail, this houses the brush pile system and is also present in the new staff and parting beads.

The introduction of the Sash Management brush pile system eliminates the gaps around the sashes, which in turn stops the draughts and also greatly cuts down noise intrusion as sound travels on air. Rattling sashes now become a distant memory.

The draught proofing system is designed to be hidden, so not to disturb the overall charm and character of your windows, although allowing them to move up and down smoothly with little effort, the draught proofing system can also be easily incorporated into casements and doors.
